Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix showed a flair for sports early, and discovered her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her first race, Felix was second in the 200 meters race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003. She then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. One year later Felix earned the first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking an all-time junior world record taking 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. The youngest to win the 200 meter during the World Championships in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 defeating the long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo regularly placing in the top three of her competitions.
